St. Croix River
Valley

Two states, one stunning river valley. From historic river towns to Northwoods retreats, the St. Croix valley is where life slows down.

The Valley

Where the river meets
the bluffs.

The St. Croix River valley forms the border between Minnesota and Wisconsin, and it's one of the most scenic stretches in the entire Midwest. The protected St. Croix National Scenic Riverway preserves ancient basalt cliffs, glacial potholes, and over 200 miles of pristine waterway.

Historic river towns like Stillwater, Osceola, and Hudson offer charming downtowns with boutiques, restaurants, and cultural events. Bluff-top estates with sweeping river views sit alongside more modest homes and rural acreages. There's genuine variety here.

And then there's Spooner, Wisconsin, the gateway to the Northwoods. Located near the Namekagon River, a key tributary of the St. Croix, Spooner is defined by its railroad heritage, abundant lake access, and public forest lands. It's a destination for fishing, paddling, snowmobiling, and quiet, nature-oriented living.

Life revolves around the St. Croix River valley for a reason. It's where my family is rooted, and it's where I know every community, every road, and every opportunity.
